The IEC 320 connector is a 2 conductor 2.5 AMP rated connector generally used for powering AV Equipment, Radios, laptop power supply units and other double insulated equipment. The IEC 320 C7 connector is more commonly known as a figure 8, Infinity or Shotgun Connector.
