The CEE 7/7 Schuko plug has two round pins 4.8mm in diameter and spaced 19mm apart for the live and neutral pins. The earth is provided by two flat contact areas on the top and bottom side of the plug. Within the EU the majority of countries now utilize the CEE 7/7 connector with the exception of Denmark, Ireland, Malta, Cyprus, United Kingdom and Gibraltar
